Every good radio talk show and podcast needs a 28th episode, if only to confound its chronicler and force the unwittiest of introductions to ensure that people don’t feel like they are reading the same bland introductory text week after week. So you must know by now that on July 18, 2010 Hawke Robinson and Michael Martinez — the Irrascible co-hosts of Middle-earth Talk Radio — communed via “the magic of Skype” to record yet another 90-minute long extravaganza of Middle-earth chat, talk, conversation, discussion, and dialog. More importantly, this is the episode where Elvish singer Heather Downing joined them for a long discussion of her career and aspirations.
The list of topics is too long to include everything but here is a sampling of what they talked about.
